President Roy Berger

Roy Berger was selected a Temple Sinai Trustee in 2021 and nominated as Board President in 2022. Prior to coming to Las Vegas in 2018, Berger and his wife Andi spent 20 years in Birmingham, Alabama, where he was President/CEO of Medjet, an international travel assistance repatriation membership program. During that time, Medjet (Medjet.com) became recognized as the top travel medical assistance company in the country.  Berger and the program were featured in a January 1, 2006 New York Times profile called ‘The Boss.’ Roy presently sits on the Medjet Board of Directors. Prior to and concurrent, Berger spent 35 years in the pari-mutuel racing business operating racetracks in eight states. He graduated from the University of Miami with a degree in communications. Roy has written two books, The Most Wonderful Week of the Year and Big League Dream and presently authors a blog, Sunday Morning Coffee, at royberger.com.  They have two sons both living in Los Angeles: Jason, a television writer and Scott, a luxury hotel manager.
